How do I get new or updated fields on my Dynamic File applications to auto-populate with caregiver data?

Configuration & WorkflowsConfigurationeDoc Suite/Dynamic FilesField Mapping and Population on Dynamic Files

When you add new fields or modify existing fields on a Dynamic File (such as a caregiver application), those fields need to be mapped to the corresponding caregiver data in Bolt so they auto-populate correctly. This is known as field mapping.

To request field mapping for new or updated fields on a Dynamic File:

1. Identify the specific Dynamic File and page number(s) where the new or modified fields are located.

2. Submit a support request to Bolt HC, clearly specifying:

- The exact name of the Dynamic File (e.g., "Employee Application," "Complete HHA Application," "Complete RN Application")

- The page number(s) containing the new or changed fields

- Whether the fields are standard fields or conditional fields (fields that appear based on other selections)

- A screenshot highlighting the specific fields that need to be mapped

3. The Bolt support team will configure the field mapping on the back end so that the identified fields auto-populate with the appropriate caregiver profile data (e.g., name, address, employment history, certifications).

4. Once the mapping is complete, you will be notified and the fields will begin populating automatically when the Dynamic File is generated or filled out.

Note: Field mapping configuration is handled by Bolt support — agency users cannot self-configure which caregiver data fields map to specific locations on a Dynamic File. If you have multiple pages or multiple Dynamic Files that need updates, you can submit them in a single request or as separate requests for each document/page.

To ensure the fastest turnaround, always include a screenshot annotating exactly which fields need mapping and reference the page numbers within the document.
