How do I delete duplicate or unwanted patient or caregiver profiles in Bolt?

Currently, Bolt does not provide a self-service option for users to delete patient or caregiver profiles directly from the platform. Profile deletion — whether for duplicates, test entries, or other cleanup — must be handled by the Bolt Support team.

To request profile deletions, follow these steps:

1. Identify the profiles to be deleted. Gather the direct Bolt URLs for each profile you want removed. These will be links to either patient profiles (case_management) or caregiver profiles (caregiver_management/edit_caregiver).

2. Submit a support ticket. Contact Bolt Support and include the full list of profile URLs you need deleted. You can include both patient and caregiver profiles in the same request.

3. Wait for confirmation. The Bolt Support team will process the deletions and confirm once completed. For larger batches, this may take a short time to process.

Tips for an efficient request:

- Include the direct Bolt URL for each profile (e.g., `https://boltintakeapp.com/main/case_management/[ID]` or `https://boltintakeapp.com/main/caregiver_management/[ID]`).

- You can submit multiple profiles in a single request — there is no limit on the number of profiles per ticket.

- If the profiles are duplicates, it is helpful to note which profile should be kept (the primary/active one) versus which ones should be deleted.

- Clearly indicate whether the profiles are patient profiles, caregiver profiles, or a mix of both.

Important: Profile deletion is permanent. Make sure you have verified that the correct profiles are being removed and that any important data has been transferred to the retained profile before submitting your request.
