How do I request changes to field population or counter-sign configuration on a Dynamic File in a hiring packet?
Field population and counter-sign settings on Dynamic Files within hiring packets are configured by the Bolt Healthcare support team. These are two common types of adjustments:
Field Population (Pre-Population):
Certain fields on a Dynamic File can be set to automatically pre-populate with fixed values (such as your agency name, address, or other standard information) so that caregivers do not need to manually enter them. This saves time and reduces errors on hiring packet documents.
Counter-Sign Fields:
Some fields on a Dynamic File need to be designated as counter-sign fields. Counter-sign fields are completed and signed by an authorized agency representative (e.g., an HR Admin or Manager) after the caregiver has submitted the document, enabling multi-party signing on the same document.
To request either type of change, follow these steps:
1. Identify the specific Dynamic File (hiring packet document) and the exact page number(s) where the change is needed.
2. For field population requests, specify the exact value that should pre-populate in the field (e.g., your agency's legal name).
3. For counter-sign requests, identify which fields on the page should be designated as counter-sign fields.
4. Submit a support request to Bolt Healthcare with the following details:
- The name of the hiring packet / Dynamic File
- The page number(s) affected
- Whether the request is for field population or counter-sign configuration
- A screenshot highlighting the specific fields (recommended)
- The caregiver profile URL where the document can be viewed (if applicable)
5. The Bolt support team will configure the changes on the PDF Engine and confirm once complete.
Note: These configurations are applied at the Dynamic File template level, meaning changes will take effect for all future instances of that document across your agency. If you have multiple pages or fields that need updates, you can submit them as separate requests or consolidate them into a single detailed request.
