Can date fields on Dynamic File packets automatically populate with the date when a Counter-Sign is initiated?

This is a known feature request. Currently, date fields on multi-page Dynamic File packets (such as Orientation Packets and Health Packets) do not automatically populate with the date when a Counter-Sign is initiated.

The requested behavior is for specific date fields on these documents to auto-fill with the current date at the moment the Counter-Sign process begins. This would apply across all pages of a packet and across different packet types (e.g., PCA Orientation Packet, RN Orientation Packet, PCA Health Packet, RN Health Packet).

This capability is part of the PDF Engine's auto-population functionality for Dynamic Files. The feature would allow date fields designated as "counter-sign initiation date" fields to be automatically stamped with the correct date when the counter-signer opens or initiates the signing process, eliminating the need for manual date entry.

As of now, this enhancement is under consideration. If your agency needs this functionality, please submit a feature request through Bolt HC support so your use case is captured and prioritized accordingly. In the meantime, counter-signers will need to manually enter the date on applicable fields when completing the Counter-Sign process.
